Introduction

We are seeking a new apprentice to join our team to provide support and committed care to our children. You will receive high‑class training in all areas of the nursery to assist you in your apprenticeship.
About the Employer
Hassockmoor Nursery is based in Barrington near Ilminster. We provide flexible, high-quality care and education in a rural location, which allows the children time and space to grow and develop at their own pace. We open from 7:30 AM until 6 PM all year round.
What You’ll Do
- You will be an integral part of the team and will play a key role in assisting the children to learn and develop.
- We are very passionate about enabling children to learn through play and engaging their minds in new and exciting ways.
- Duties include: Setting up and carrying out activities with children
- Preparing snacks
- Assisting with personal care
- Helping with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Building relationships with parents/carers
- Enabling children to learn through different methods
- This role may be closed early if a sufficient number of applications are received.
Training Outcome
Excellent career prospects upon successful completion. We have a great history of working with apprentices within our business. Most have progressed to a higher-level apprenticeship or into a full-time role.
