Highly Specialist Neo-natal Occupational Therapist

Job Overview

We are excited to be developing our neonatal therapy team. This role will re‑establish Occupational Therapy within neonates at Milton Keynes Hospital and give you the opportunity to build and contribute to the AHP service to provide high quality, family‑centred care for our high‑risk babies and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a complex caseload of neonatal patients using individualized assessment and intervention.
• Support infants and their families in participating in developmentally appropriate and meaningful co‑occupations.
• Facilitate timely discharge and provide anticipatory guidance to ease the transition to home.
• Teach and train the AHP team and wider unit.
• Contribute to service development and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
