Position: Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Type: Permanent

Salary: Basic circa £40,000 Mon-Fri 40 hours

Location: Wakefield, York, Yorkshire

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to complete electrical PPM and reactive works on commercial estates across the M1 corridor, Yorkshire and North East. Permanent position paying circa £40,000 plus overtime. On-call with standby payment. Mon-Fri days 40 hours per week. Van and fuel card supplied (personal use).

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical works on building services systems and plant room.
• Repair and maintain electrical systems.
• Work on electrical projects and assess all electrical plans and installations.
• Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure that all critical works are completed at the request of the end user, in line with SLAs.
• Ensure H&S, RAMS and H&S documentation are correct.
• Work on commercial grade facilities.
• Overlap with mechanical and general plant room teams where required plus compliance checks.

Skills & Background Required

• Recognised professional apprenticeship or equivalent Electrical training
• NVQ Level 3 Grade
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
• Experience of maintenance – PPM and reactive works
• Ideally to have good multi skilled experience
• Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
• Valid driving license
