Production Manager (Electronics/ Manufacturing) – Lancaster
Salary: £45,000 – £58,000 plus Training & Development, Progression, Pension and Company Benefits.
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to lead production operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives and shape the future of the manufacturing function. The role involves managing day-to-day production across assembly, testing and packing operations while ensuring on-time delivery, high quality, efficiency and safety. You will lead and develop production teams and drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement to support long-term business growth.
This expanding manufacturer supplies high-quality products to customers across a range of industries and is investing in people, processes and production capabilities to support its growth.
Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day production operations across assembly, testing and packing departments
- Leading, mentoring and developing production teams to maximise performance
- Driving Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the factory
- Managing production planning to ensure customer delivery targets are achieved
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager
- Background within electronics manufacturing or a similar technical manufacturing environment
- Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing and motivating production teams
- Commutable to Lancaster
