Laminator – Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the laminator machine to meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Ensure that the workplace is tidy, clean, and orderly according to 5S standards
• Participate in continuous improvement by observing waste reduction opportunities and acting on them when applicable
• Provide break cover to increase department overall performance
• Set up and operate a variety of machinery and ancillary equipment
• Monitor and maintain product specifications, carrying out online adjustments as required
• Accurately complete all production paperwork in a timely manner
• Carry out quality tests and measurements and implement required corrective actions
• Participate in hygiene and other audits
• Assist with machine changeovers
• Assist with day-to-day workplace organisation, planning, and machine optimisation
• Holiday cover where required
• Training of operators where appropriate
