About the role

Within the Children with Disabilities Team, you will engage in specialised social work, making holistic threshold decisions guided by the “Right Help, Right Time” document.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in specialised social work, making holistic threshold decisions guided by the Right Help, Right Time document.
  • Adhere to tight timescales to address immediate safeguarding concerns and provide appropriate support and signposting.

About You

  • Degree in Social Work and completion of your ASYE.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Requirements

This hybrid role is based in Birmingham. Must live within a suitable commuting distance around Birmingham and hold mandatory right‑to‑work documents in the UK. Sponsorship not supported.
