Security Officer – M&S
Location: Leicester – Must be able to travel to Leicester (Fosse Park, Thurmaston & Ashby De La Zouch), Loughborough and surrounding areas.
Salary – £14.58 per hour.
Must have own transport.

Responsibilities
- Operate in a fast‑paced retail environment, staying alert, responsive and ready to step in when needed.
- Provide customer service by greeting customers and delivering professional support to both customers and colleagues.
- Keep stores safe and secure by preventing loss, responding to incidents, identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working.
- Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body‑worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
- Stay calm under pressure, responding to challenging situations and supporting emergency procedures while acting professionally and confidently.
- Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.
- Adapt quickly to changing situations, showing flexibility in a fast‑moving retail setting.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, confident and professional approach.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
- A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.
Important Information
All candidates must be able to provide a 5‑year checkable work history within the UK.
