Support Worker / Training Provided

We are assisting a national supported living provider who are seeking a full‑time Support Worker to work in Eastry. You may also have opportunities in the Margate area. The successful candidate will support people with complex health needs and various learning disabilities and enjoy engaging with their hobbies and interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, daily routines, and activities.
• Support clients to access community resources and participate in social activities.
• Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with the team and clients.
• Encourage independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of support provided and any changes in client needs.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must have a full UK driving licence and own a car.
• Flexibility to work across all seven days of the week.

Shift Patterns

7:00 am–2:00 pm / 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, with occasional 10:00 pm–7:00 am nights. Rota is released 4–6 weeks in advance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience working with children or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Good communication skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and external professionals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Basic IT skills for record‑keeping and updating care plans.
