Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to people with learning disabilities, autism and related needs in their homes and local communities.
- Support daily living tasks, including activities in daily living, shopping, meals, personal care where appropriate, and home management.
- Encourage participation in activities, community engagement and the development of new skills.
- Promote communication, listen carefully, and respond to individual preferences and goals.
- Work both independently and as part of a wider team to help people meet day-to-day goals and longer-term aspirations.
