Role Overview
We now have an opportunity for a Logistics Operative to join us – carrying out warehouse duties ensuring the effective and efficient control of product within Stores. Working on site in Cambridge (554 shift).

Responsibilities
- Providing a professional level of customer service.
- Ensuring high standards in housekeeping.
- Taking a proactive approach to the daily stores operation.
- Maintaining and reporting local store stock levels and monitoring vending activities.
- Ensuring that the working environment is safe for those working in and visiting the store in line with the company H&S procedures.
- Participating in Continuous Improvement activities within the warehouse environment and making suggestions for improvement.
- Assisting any audits, be it internal or by external auditors.
- Ensuring all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirements.
- Leading, following up and resolving customer concerns.
- Ensuring security of the warehouse environment and maintaining access control.
- Being a positive member of the team and contributing to the company targets and objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in handling and managing stock within a stores environment.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks based on agreed larger goals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Forklift qualification – desirable.
- Certified in Dangerous Goods handling and Aviation security – desirable.
- Good numeracy skills and computer literacy.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to establish logical practical solutions.
