Assistant Manager

Overview

We invite you to join Pho. We’re looking for a cool and charismatic Assistant Manager to join our new Pho restaurant opening in Waterloo. Salary offer up to £41,400 (base £32,400 plus earnings through tronc).

Pho is a stylish, lively restaurant brand where the atmosphere features music, dimmed lighting, and a buzzing service environment. Guests are engaged with our team as they enjoy fresh Phở, with a focus on great food and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations as part of the management team.
• Assist in staff training, development and rota scheduling.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and manage basic supplier relationships.
• Utilize day-to-day systems for stock and ordering (e.g., stock ordering systems).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant management experience (bar or restaurant experience acceptable).
• Strong passion for food and a desire to learn all aspects of Pho’s fresh food offering.
• People-focused with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
• Comfortable working with various systems as part of daily operations.
