Role Overview

At our service in Ellon, we support individuals with a wide range of needs to live as independently as possible in their own flats. The people you’ll support range in age from 23 to 65 and enjoy activities such as bowls, boccia, gardening, cinema, swimming, cooking, baking and more. The support team is experienced and offers assistance with medication administration, cooking and home maintenance, social support, and managing finances.

  • Assist with medication administration
  • Prepare meals and maintain the home environment
  • Provide social support and help achieve personal goals
  • Manage finances and budgeting for supported individuals
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients
  • Remain calm and reliable under pressure

Shift Information

Our team provides support 7 days a week. We require flexibility to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday, including some sleep‑over shifts. Typical patterns include 8 am – 3 pm, 3 pm – 9 am the next day (with sleep‑over), or 2:45 pm – 3 pm the next day (with sleep‑over). This is a full‑time position of 37.5 hours per week. A driver’s licence is essential as you may be asked to cover at other services.

Qualifications & Skills

We value individuals who are positive, motivated, reliable, honest, and able to remain calm under pressure. Experience in social care is welcome but not mandatory – we hire based on values and a passion to care.
