Electrical Assembly Operative — £13.50 per hour, rising to £14.00 per hour after successful probation. Days only, Monday to Friday. Middleton, Manchester. Permanent and Temp-to-Perm roles.
Metalis are recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturer based in Middleton. You will be assembling and testing electrical panels used within a range of innovative products for well-known brands and blue-chip companies.

What’s the Job?
- Assembly and testing of lighting and electrical panels
- Electrical wiring and LED installation
- Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Carrying out visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy
- Ensuring correct component placement and safe power routing
- Working closely with an experienced production team
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality throughout production
What Kind of Person Fits This Job?
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical assembly or soldering
- Ability to read and interpret engineering or production drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage your own workload and work to deadlines
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude
- Flexible to work overtime when required
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous experience with LED products

- £13.50 per hour, increasing to £14.00 per hour after successful probation
