Year 5 Teacher – Kettering | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Paid to Scale

A supportive primary school in Kettering is looking for a motivated Year 5 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, building positive relationships and helping pupils achieve their full potential in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach a Year 5 class and deliver lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Plan, prepare and assess pupils’ work
• Create a positive classroom environment where children feel confident to learn
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every child

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Ability to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
• Organised, reliable and passionate about education
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
