Overview
Aspire People are recruiting healthcare teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Spilsby. The school is looking for a teaching assistant with experience in the care sector who is interested in utilising their skills within education. The school caters for students in KS1 through KS4. Roles start immediately or from September with a rolling contract. There is an option to go permanent. Pay rate is up to £109 per day.
Responsibilities
- Contract type: long-term with the option of extending
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30
- One-to-one support with students
- Collaborate with the class teacher and work with a number of assistants
- Develop social and cognitive development in students
- Supportive senior leadership team
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience working in the care sector
- Interest in utilising skills in an educational setting
- Experience in healthcare or support work is advantageous
