TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic Primary School in Derbyshire & Chesterfield that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school has an excellent OFSTED rating, outstanding facilities, including a forest school, and prides itself on creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences
- Promote positive behaviour and provide targeted support to help pupils reach their full potential
Qualifications
- Experience working within a UK Primary School
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
- A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to supporting children’s learning and development
