Hours: 30:00 hours per week, Monday – Sunday with 13:30-20:00. Saturday & Sunday shift may be required.

About the role

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will deliver parcels across the assigned area, prepare your van and workload, use route‑planning technology, and handle special items such as election materials, food products or alcohol in line with Royal Mail business standards. You will be responsible for ensuring customers receive their items in a timely and accurate manner and representing Royal Mail as a positive ambassador.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver parcels on a multi‑drop route each day.
  • Ensure all items are handled securely and delivered to the correct address.
  • Pre‑plan routes using route‑planning technology.
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as an ambassador for Royal Mail.
  • Handle election materials and other special items in accordance with Royal Mail standards.

Qualifications

  • Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
  • Organised, punctual with great initiative.
  • Committed to delivering great customer service.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers.
  • Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
