The Opportunity

You’ll encourage students to think creatively, solve real-world problems and express themselves through design and artistic exploration. You’ll create engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, develop technical skills and help every learner achieve their potential.

Your Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging Design Technology and Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspiring students through creative, practical and project-based learning
- Creating a safe, organised and engaging workshop and classroom environment
- Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback
- Encouraging creativity, independence and resilience in every lesson
- Contributing to the wider life of the department and school community
We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from teachers who are:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Passionate about Design Technology, Art and creative education
- Able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Committed to delivering engaging, inclusive and high-quality lessons
- Dedicated to helping every student develop confidence, creativity and practical skills
