Teaching Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a specialist independent SEN school in West Sussex for a Trainee Tutor to join their exceptional team supporting children with Autism and communication needs.

What you’ll be doing
- Delivering engaging 1:1 teaching sessions tailored to each pupil.
- Supporting children with Autism and additional communication needs.
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress.
- Working closely with experienced teachers and therapists.
- Supporting pupils during enrichment activities, playtimes and school‑based activities.
- Developing your own teaching skills through structured training, mentoring and regular professional development.

We’re looking for someone who is

Essential requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Please note: This school is located in a rural part of West Sussex with very limited public transport links, so being able to drive is essential.
