Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise rooms including furnishings in assigned work areas
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry with minimal disruption to service users and care
• Communicate and engage effectively with service users, their families and colleagues; demonstrate good interpersonal and working relationship skills
• Work without direct supervision and use a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products
• Work on your own initiative and maintain a high level of hygiene within the home

Qualifications / Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and engage with residents, families and colleagues
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Experience with COSHH-regulated cleaning products
• Ability to work on your own initiative while maintaining high hygiene standards
