Overview
SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant (Full Time) – Primary Schools in Worksop. Full-time role with Tradewind Recruitment. We are seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to register for opportunities across welcoming primary schools in the Worksop area.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Work closely with class teachers and SEND Coordinators to deliver engaging and inclusive learning.
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage confidence and independence.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Qualifications & What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
