HGV1 Tanker Driver

Overview

Streamline Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV1 tanker drivers for the fresh water tankering industry for a customer based in Earls Colne, Essex (between Braintree and Colchester). Our customer provides clean drinking water to locations, usually supporting businesses and communities on behalf of water utility companies when regular piped water supply is not available. The customer also supplies clean water to the construction industry and to events such as festivals, offering variety in work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect water while minimising contamination risk, following procedures, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Complete a comprehensive induction and training period which is fully paid for.
• Work a flexible schedule, generally on DAYS Monday to Friday with occasional weekend requirements; some jobs may require night outs.
• Operate using a digital tachograph where applicable.

Qualifications

• C+E licence with 1 year of practical experience
• Digital tachograph card
• Driver CPC card
• EUSR card would be beneficial but is not essential

Details

• All work is conducted with a digital tachograph.

Payment information

• £19.00 per hour for all hours worked
• £25.00 per night for a night out
• Minimum 10 hours guaranteed
• A 45 minute break will be deducted after the minimum hours worked
• Weekly payments every Friday
