Overview

Secondary Supply Teacher – all subjects required – long term and day-to-day positions available. Are you a qualified teacher who is searching for a better work-life balance from September? Aspire People are in partnership with a variety of secondary schools across Greater Manchester that will be taking on teachers for full time and part time teaching roles from September 2026. We offer competitive pay rates and the roles can be fully flexible to work around your schedule. After 10 working days you will receive a £100 joining bonus. Across Manchester the schools we are working with are looking for Secondary Teachers in a range of subjects, so this is an ideal opportunity to try new schools to see what environment suits you best!

Responsibilities

  • Creating engaging lesson plans
  • Leading one-on-one activities
  • Adhering to school policies on behaviour management

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • UK QTS certificate (Essential)
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK curriculum
  • Strong academic background e.g. A-Levels
  • Approachable and passionate
  • Comfortable with IT and technology
  • Excellent observations during PGCE or Teacher Training

Requirements

All candidates who register with Aspire People will have 2 years references taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and must be on the update service. Placements are subject to appropriate Child Protection screening, including checks with former employers and the Disclosure and Barring Checks.
