Science Teacher – Warwick

About the role

Justteachers is inviting a passionate Science specialist to join a premier secondary school in Warwick. This full-time position begins in September 2026 and offers a long-term placement for the full academic year. You will be part of a prestigious Science department known for its diverse and captivating curriculum spanning from KS3 to A-Level. With a consistent track record of high GCSE and Key Stage 5 attainment, this school is the ideal environment for a practitioner who sets high standards for themselves and their students.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics, while fostering a safe laboratory environment
• Supervise practical experiments, demonstrate scientific techniques, manage the safe handling of chemicals, and ensure laboratory safety regulations are strictly followed
• Set, mark, and evaluate student work, including tests, assignments, and reports to monitor progress and provide feedback
• Set clear behavioral expectations and maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment

Pre-requisites

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Science to GCSE level
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Two references we are able to apply for, desirably from an educational setting
