Parts Delivery Driver

Overview

As a Parts Delivery Driver for Arnold Clark, you will carry out multi-drop deliveries to branches and independent motor traders. You will drive safely and deliver on time, collect cash from customers and return it to the relevant branches. The role requires physical ability for some heavy lifting and the ability to work well as part of a team. Flexibility is required to occasionally provide holiday cover for other drivers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries to trade customers and Arnold Clark branches
• Drive safely and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
• Collect cash sales and return them to the correct branch
• Carry out regular van maintenance checks
• Lifting heavy vehicle components
• Provide occasional holiday cover for other drivers
• Work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications and Skills

• A full UK driving licence
• Great communication skills and a friendly manner
• Good levels of fitness
• High levels of organisation and time management
• Attention to detail and trustworthy
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside of contracted hours

Hours

Full time: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm with alternate Saturdays 8:00am – 12:00pm
