Overview

We are launching our 2025 Early Careers intake to join our growing and diverse business. This role involves inspecting castings, welds, and forged or wrought products using the methods for which certification has been achieved. The primary function is to ensure all products are tested in accordance with written procedures and fully comply with technical requirements. All inspection work must be recorded and certified using the NDT reporting system.

What do you do at Sheffield Forgemasters?

We manufacture some of the world’s largest steel castings and forgings, ranging from 1 to 350 tonnes. We produce a wide range of products for mills and presses, nuclear, defence, power generation, offshore oil and gas, and materials processing industries.
