Overview
Adults Senior Social Worker – Contract Opportunity (2 Weeks). This role is to join the Adult Early Support Team (AEST) within Adult Care Services. The position is ideal for a passionate, innovative social worker who thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and aims to make a difference in the lives of our client residents.
Responsibilities – Adults Senior Social Worker
- Conduct thorough assessments of adults facing complex challenges to determine their needs and strengths.
- Develop person-centered support plans collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies.
- Work proactively to prevent escalation of needs by delivering timely, effective interventions.
- Liaise regularly with multidisciplinary teams including social care, mental health professionals, police, voluntary organisations, and occupational therapists.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with statutory and organisational policies.
- Support safeguarding procedures and promote service user empowerment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant social work experience.
- Social Worker qualification as per JDPS.
- Proven experience supporting adults through complex challenges.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and adapt to change.
- Valid references covering at least 3 years and no employment gaps.
