Role Overview
You will support the day‑to‑day running of the pub with delivery and stock processes, ensuring 100% product availability at all times while adhering to all Wetherspoon standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies, and maintaining a clean, safe and legal workplace. Working hours are flexible, early opening and late closing dates provide great flexibility.
Duties
- Receive and store food, drinks and non-consumable deliveries in line with SOPs, investigate and report any anomalies.
- Maintain stock rotation to refill fridges and freezers to a high standard.
- Follow guidelines to complete defrost and preparation as required.
- Keep the bar fully stocked with stock, ice, non-consumables and prepped items (e.g., fruit).
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness following the “clean as you go” philosophy.
- Adhere to cellar management practices, including all opening and closing procedures and processes.
- Follow line‑cleaning processes to maintain top‑quality dispense of all draught products.
