Overview
Assist the kitchen team with dishwashing, food preparation, and delivery of food and sandwiches. Support the Head Chef in basic cooking tasks and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean dishes and pans; maintain a tidy, organized kitchen.
- Deliver food and sandwiches to designated areas (e.g., lower ground) as required.
- Assist the Head Chef with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
- Prepare ingredients and support the creation of basic dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food hygiene standards.
- Help keep the kitchen stocked and organized; manage supplies efficiently.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and support team members.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well as part of a team; reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Knowledge of food hygiene is an advantage.
