Retail Elite Security Officer

Overview

Pay rate: £15.36ph. Various shifts (to be discussed at interview). Mitie is looking for an elite security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while providing a highly visible presence that reduces the impact of anti-social behaviour upon colleagues and customers. You must hold a current SIA licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service
• Create a safe environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues
• Manage anti-social behaviour and build relationships with those that cause it
• Engage with members of the public by providing a welcoming presence
• Support the public and visitors with their queries in a friendly and polite manner by demonstrating excellent customer service
• Support the Police and crime partnerships where required to aid with the reduction of crime in store
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety

Vetting and Qualifications

• You must hold a current SIA licence
• Vetting: a full 5-year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal or employment termination
