Overview

AppZen is a leader in autonomous spend-to-pay software delivering AI-powered insights to optimize enterprise spend. Our solutions integrate with accounts payable, expense, and card workflows to read, understand, and provide real-time decisions, helping reduce processing times and curb fraud or waste.

As a Sales Development Representative at AppZen, you will identify, research, and engage with potential customers and finance decision-makers, understand challenges, and qualify opportunities for Account Executives to advance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and engage target businesses and finance decision-makers.
  • Understand prospect challenges and articulate how AppZen’s AI solutions can help.
  • Book meetings with Account Executives to progress opportunities and build pipeline.
  • Execute outbound outreach through cold calling, email campaigns (personalized and mass), voice notes, videos, and LinkedIn.
  • Maintain coachability, apply daily coaching, and continuously develop sales skills.

Qualifications

  • Coachable, highly motivated, and competitive self-starter.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience (SaaS, recruitment, or client-facing).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Proficiency with cold calling, LinkedIn, personalized emails, and other sales development techniques.
  • Ability to work in a demanding, time-sensitive, fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward rejection.
  • Passionate about AI, technology, finance, and driving results.
