.Based in the Old Street area of London, the practice is currently seeking a Part 3 qualified Architect to join its collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for an architect who enjoys working at the intersection of architecture and interior design, with a particular emphasis on technically complex and highly detailed projects
.The rol
e:This position will involve a high level of interior design and interior architecture detailing, taking projects from concept through to technical delivery. You will be working on prestigious hospitality and residential schemes, many of which are located within listed buildings and conservation areas, requiring a thoughtful and informed approach to heritage, materials, and constructi
on.Responsibilities will incl
- ude:Producing detailed drawing packages and coordinating technical information across all project st
- ages.Leading and contributing to the preparation of tender and construction pack
- ages.Developing bespoke interior architectural details, including joinery, finishes, fixtures, and fitt
- ings.Working closely with interior designers, consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers to ensure the highest quality of deli
- very.Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations and relevant planning and conservation requirem
- ents.Contributing to the successful delivery of projects within listed buildings and conservation areas, balancing contemporary design with the preservation of historic fa
- bric.Participating actively in a collaborative studio environment while also managing individual responsibilities with confidence and initia
tive.Required skills and exper
- ience:Part 3 qualified Architect with strong post-qualification expe
- rience.Excellent construction knowledge and technical detailing
- skills.Demonstrable experience producing detailed tender and construction pa
- ckages.Thorough understanding of UK Building Regul
- ations.Proven experience working on high-end hospitality and/or luxury residential interior pr
- ojects.Experience delivering projects within listed buildings and conservation areas is highly des
- irable.Proactive, organised, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of
- a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in E
- nglish.Vectorworks proficiency pre
- ferred.Experience preparing or coordinating NBS specifications would be advant
