This role offers exposure to complex work within a collaborative environment, without line management responsibility.nnKey Responsibilities of the Trust and Tax Manager:
nn • Preparing self-assessment income tax returns and CGT returns for trusts, estates and individualsnn • Preparing annual trust accounts and managing compliance mattersnn • Handling inheritance tax returns including 10-year and exit chargesnn • Liaising with HMRC and arranging tax paymentsnn • Managing FATCA and CRS compliancenn • Registering and maintaining trusts on HMRC’s trust registernn • Liaising with trustees, beneficiaries and professional advisersnn • Attending trustee meetings where appropriatenn • Monitoring deadlines and key datesnn • Supporting the overall delivery of private client servicesnnRequirements of the Trust and Tax Manager:
nn • Minimum 3 years’ experience in trust accounting and taxnn • Strong experience preparing trust accounts and tax returnsnn • Excellent analytical and communication skillsnn • Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Word knowledgenn • Experience with CCH tax and accounting systems desirablenn • ATT or CTA qualification advantageousnn • Highly organised with strong attention to detailnn • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlinesnnThe Benefits for the Trust and Tax Manager role:
