The Opportunity

Our client is an ambitious, international workplace consultancy and delivery partner – creating exceptional workplaces for some of the world’s most recognised brands across the UK and Europe. With a strong three year growth strategy in place, they are scaling fast and investing in the leadership to get there.

Pre-construction is where projects are won. As Head of Pre-Construction, you’ll lead one of the most commercially important functions in the business – shaping winning bids, de-risking delivery and building a scalable pre-construction capability that fuels the next stage of growth, working hand-in-hand with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all pre-construction activity, from first client conversation to project mobilisation.
  • Own bid strategy, programme, construction methodology, cost planning and procurement strategy.
  • Shape winning, buildable solutions that set our client apart in competitive tenders.
  • Partner with Design, Commercial, Furniture and Delivery for a seamless, integrated approach.
  • Build and mentor a growing pre-construction team across the UK and EMEA.
  • Drive innovation through BIM, digital construction and sustainable delivery.

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant leadership within commercial fit-out, workplace construction, interiors or design & build.
  • Proven experience leading pre-construction on complex commercial projects.
  • A strong grasp of construction methodology, procurement, planning and commercial delivery.
  • A track record of winning competitive tenders and negotiated work.
  • The credibility to influence clients, consultants and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience building and developing high-performing teams.

Why You’ll Love It

You’ll have the autonomy to build the pre-construction function your way, real influence over which projects the business pursues, exposure to landmark workplace projects across Europe, and a direct line to the CEO – in one of the sector’s most exciting growth stories.
