We are working with one of the largest financial services organisations across Asia, which has a strong and growing presence throughout Europe. This bank has harnessed a consistent and stable flow of business and continues to perform well, despite current economic conditions affecting other international banks, so it is a great time to join.
As a result of this strong performance, the EMEA legal team is now looking for a Paralegal to join their Corporate Lending legal team, for an initial period of 12 months.
What will the role involve:
- Key tasks will relate to the review, drafting and negotiation of finance documentation: non-disclosure agreements, reliance/release letters and other similar documents, in the context of both front-office transactions and vendor contracts;
- liaise with front office and other stakeholders;
- support the efficient execution of documentation in accordance with internal requirements and policies and external regulations in order to manage legal risk;
- assist the legal team with other transactional matters or projects as required.
What skill-sets are we looking for?
- The person should have a degree in English law and MUST have relevant paralegal experience in the UK from another bank or have debt finance/lending experience.
- Proficiency in using IT software products (e.g. Microsoft Office);
- Good communication skills (including a business level of spoken and written English); commercially minded.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal/legal professional who is looking to move in-house and develop a career within an established, successful and stable Bank.
This team enjoys a flexible and generous hybrid working policy and a healthy work-life balance.
