Payroll Transformation Consultant | Global Payroll Programme | 12-Month Contract | Inside IR35
We’re supporting a global organisation on a major European payroll transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Payroll Transformation Consultant to lead delivery.
This is a senior, hands-on programme role focused on consolidating multiple payroll providers into a single global payroll platform across more than 10 European countries. You’ll own delivery from planning through to successful country-by-country implementation, working with senior HR, Finance and Tax stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition with zero disruption to employees.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead an end-to-end multi-country payroll transformation programme.
- Manage the migration from multiple incumbent payroll providers to a single global solution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, Tax and local country teams.
- Identify and mitigate programme risks while driving delivery to agreed timelines.
- Ensure business continuity and a smooth employee experience throughout the transformation.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A proven track record delivering international payroll transformation programmes.
- Experience implementing or consolidating global payroll solutions across multiple European countries.
- Strong programme and stakeholder management skills with the gravitas to influence senior leaders.
- A solid understanding of European payroll processes, governance and country-specific considerations.
- Experience within a complex, highly regulated environment is advantageous.
Contract details:
- 12-month contract
- Inside IR35
- UK-based, predominantly remote
- Minimal European travel
- Start: End of August / Early September
- Competitive day rate, dependent on experience
