Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 7 Chiropodist/Podiatrist to join our dynamic team in London. Key Responsibilities:

• n Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients with a range of foot and lower limb conditions.

n

• n Perform clinical procedures including nail surgery, wound care, and orthotic provision.

n

• n Educate patients on foot care and provide advice on managing their conditions.

n

• n Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.

n

• n Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

n

• n Participate in clinical governance activities and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

n

• n Supervise and mentor junior staff and students as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• n HCPC registration as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist.

n

• n Relevant degree or diploma in Chiropody/Podiatry.

n

• n Completion of NHS mandatory training.

n

• n Proven experience working as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.

n

• n Evidence of continuing professional development.

• n Experience in nail surgery and advanced wound care.

• n Competence in the provision of custom-made orthotics.

• n Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
