OVERVIEW

In CAA Brand Consulting we have 250+ specialists working with over 40 leading brands, helping them solve their biggest challenges through strategic partnership and partnership activation. Our services and connectivity in sport and entertainment allow us to identify, develop, activate and measure partnership strategies that build brands and grow business. THE ROLE

Our London office is hiring an Account Director to join our award‑winning team. We are seeking an Events & Hospitality specialist with extensive knowledge and experience developing and leading guest management programmes in sport, specifically Formula 1. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the process, requirements and expectations involved in managing a premium hospitality experience in F1. Reporting into the Head of Events & Hospitality, this individual will travel to races and lead the hospitality operation on behalf of our clients, from strategic direction through to execution.

What does the role involve?

  • Working closely with the account team to shape and innovate the Formula 1 global hospitality and event experience.
  • Apply strategic expertise to develop and evolve the global hospitality programme, advising clients on audience strategy, programme design, commercial opportunities, and best‑in‑class guest experiences.
  • Oversee and manage Hospitality team members in the creation of the guest experience programme from planning to execution.
  • Leverage supplier relationships, conduct research, coordinate and make the necessary bookings for accommodation, travel and ancillary programmes alongside the official race experience.
  • Responsibility for tracking and utilisation of contractual F1 hospitality assets and ticket allocations.
  • International travel to deliver in‑market guest programmes, including to host and manage senior level guest logistics (as required).
  • Establish relationships with key rights holders to meet ongoing approvals and deadlines.
  • Senior client liaison, stakeholder management and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years’ experience delivering premium hospitality and event programmes, with significant expertise across Formula 1 and/or global sports partnerships.
  • Proven strategic expertise, with the ability to advise senior clients, shape long‑term hospitality strategies, and develop programmes that maximise commercial value, guest engagement and sponsorship objectives.
  • Extensive experience leading complex, international hospitality programmes on behalf of global brands, with responsibility for budgets, governance and operational excellence.
  • A deep understanding of the Formula 1 ecosystem, rights holders, promoters, teams and hospitality products, with an established network of industry relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience building, mentoring and inspiring high‑performing teams while fostering a collaborative culture.
  • The ability to influence and build trusted relationships with C‑suite clients, senior stakeholders and executive leadership, acting as a strategic advisor rather than solely a delivery lead.
  • Outstanding operational judgement, with the ability to oversee multiple high‑profile programmes simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience developing scopes of work, managing budgets, identifying growth opportunities and contributing to new business.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with confidence representing both the agency and clients at the highest level.
  • Agency / client servicing background is preferable but not essential.
