Overview
HBSUK is seeking experienced Consultant Dermatologists to support NHS insourcing services across England and Wales, helping to reduce patient waiting times and improve access to high‑quality dermatology care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consultant‑led dermatology outpatient clinics within NHS healthcare settings.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions.
- Provide specialist input across general dermatology and subspecialty services.
- Develop evidence‑based management and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and complete clinic outcomes in a timely manner.
- Support waiting list initiatives to improve patient outcomes and access to care.
- Adhere to GMC standards, governance requirements, and HBSUK clinical policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Substantive NHS Consultant Dermatology experience.
- Experience delivering general dermatology services.
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Strong clinical decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
