This diversity engenders a richer, more creative environment – one in which our people, clients and end-users can all benefit.We’re looking for an Interaction Designer to join our multidisciplinary team designing and delivering innovative, user-centred digital public services for Government and Private Sector clients.You’ll be a great listener and communicator with a creative, structured, and logical approach to understanding problems and designing inclusive, human-centred experiences.UK Prototype Kit, design systems and design patterns n UK design guidelines. Designs simple, intuitive, and accessible digital services that meet user needs and business objectives. Participates in user research activities, using qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform design decisions and service improvements. Rapidly prototypes and tests designs using a range of methods, including paper, digital, and code-based prototypes n Produces clear interaction design artefacts, including sketches, user flows, scenarios, wireframes, journey maps, and prototypes. Captures and communicates design decisions clearly and confidently, influencing stakeholders and colleagues with a strong evidence base. Facilitates workshops, co-design sessions, and user testing to explore problems, generate ideas, and validate solutions. Works collaboratively within agile, multidisciplinary teams alongside developers, researchers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver effective services. Contributes to design standards and design systems, maintaining consistency across services and interfaces. Supports service transformation by improving the efficiency, speed, and usability of public services.Recognises and works within project constraints, supporting teams to deliver value to clients and users. Supports and coaches teams and stakeholders in user-centred design and agile ways of working. Contributes to internal culture, tools, processes, and capability development.Contributes to the development of the Design practice and the Interaction Design community of practice n Supports thought leadership, case studies, and insights showcasing interaction design expertise n Contributes to client proposals and presentations to help win new projects.As your career progresses, you can expect to work across all stages of the development lifecycle, from strategy to implementation, and take assignments across different sectors.
