# Full time live-out disability carer in MertonMertonWed, Fri, Sun£150 per day~30## Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and reliable live-out disability carer to support a 37-year-old male client with Epilepsy in the Merton (SW19) area. This is a visiting care role, currently covering Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, totalling approximately 30 hours per week.**About the Role**The successful candidate will provide dedicated one-to-one support to the client, assisting with daily living tasks and ensuring his safety and wellbeing at all times. Given the nature of Epilepsy, carers must be confident and competent in seizure management and emergency response protocols, and must be able to remain calm and act decisively in the event of a seizure.**Key Responsibilities*** Personal care and support with daily living activities* Seizure monitoring, management, and emergency response* Assistance with mobility and physical support as required* Medication prompting or administration as directed* Accompanying the client to appointments or activities in the community* Supporting the client to maintain independence and quality of life* Accurate record-keeping and communication with the family**Schedule & Hours*** Working days: Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday* Approximately 30 hours per week in total* Candidates should be flexible and reliable, with consistent availability on the scheduled days**Requirements*** Prior experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy or other neurological conditions is strongly preferred* A full, clean UK driving licence is preferred, as driving may be required as part of the role* Male carers are welcome to apply* Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach* Ability to work independently and use good judgement* NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential)**Additional Information**This role offers the opportunity to become a long-term, trusted member of the client’s support network.
