Senior Care Assistant – Nights

Location: Nr Flint, County, CountrySalary: £29,848 + Monthly Bonus & Paid BreaksShifts: 20:00 to 08:00 (3 to 4 shifts per week)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a reputable care facility located in a picturesque coastal town near Flint. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting residents to maintain their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care and daily activities
• Administering medication after training
• Supporting care staff and overseeing shift operations
• Liaising with families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals
• Responding to emergencies promptly and effectively
• Maintaining accurate and clear records

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
• Previous experience in a care home setting
• Supervisory experience
• A kind, patient, and reliable personality
• Ability to lead a small team with confidence and warmth
• Good communication skills and a genuine passion for elderly care
