Care Support Worker

Join our team as a Care Assistant, playing a vital role in supporting patients’ daily lives while delivering compassionate, clinically focused care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and weight.
• Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected at all times.
• Support patients with compassion during normal activities of daily living.
• Perform additional duties as required to provide comprehensive patient support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months Acute Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) experience within the last 2 years (Private, NHS or Armed Forces hospital/hospice).
• Currently studying General/Adult Nursing (Student Nurse) with at least 12 weeks of clinical placements.
• Student Nurse with a minimum of 12 weeks of clinical placements.
• Care Certificate from an NHS organisation.
• QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011, or QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued after 2011, or QCF Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued after 2011 (for Paediatric & Maternity roles only).
• Degree or Diploma in Nursing with no NMC Registration.
