Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist – Mindplace Dartford

Crossways Business Park, Dartford, DA2 6QH

Permanent. Part‑time hours available (minimum of 2 days per week).

Session Requirements

  • Sessions offered Monday to Sunday, early shift: 08:00‑16:00, late shift: 14:00‑22:00.
  • At least one shift must be a late shift.
  • Each day includes 5 appointments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low‑level brief interventions demonstrating excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to determine appropriate pathways of care and support.
  • Provide service delivery through face‑to‑face, telephone or video consultations, as per client preference.
  • Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and wider therapy team.
  • Work within sessional limits based on client’s monetary allowance from Private Medical Insurance while aiming for therapeutic recovery goals.
  • Provide sign‑posting or onward referrals as required.
  • Offer ad‑hoc or one‑off wellbeing support and coaching when necessary.
  • Conduct assessments and give referral recommendations when needed.
  • Provide group psycho‑education, raise mental health awareness and deliver remote presentations, workshops and training as required.
  • Operate autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies.
  • Attend regular individual and group clinical supervision in line with BUPA and professional body guidelines.
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to improve client and employee experiences.

Key Skills / Qualifications

  • Full accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
  • Post‑Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) accredited by BABCP.
  • At least 2 years of post‑qualification experience providing high‑intensity CBT interventions with diverse presentations.
  • Training or accreditation in additional specialised areas such as EMDR (desirable).
  • Corporate experience and business understanding.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
