Care Assistant Needed

Job Description

As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and person-centered care to our clients. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of those under our care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide support with mobility and transferring, as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to combat loneliness and promote mental stimulation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
• Document and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing the provision of care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care-related role is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of professionalism.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities as required.
