Location: Outpatients – Rivers Hospital – Bank Hours.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our Bank Team at Rivers Outpatients. The role is varied, requires excellent communication skills and a flexible, patient‑focused attitude. You will work closely with registered nurses and consultants to provide a safe and caring environment for patients.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to patients under the supervision of nursing staff, maintain cleanliness and infection control, support patient care activities, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a willingness to train to this level.
• A warm, considerate and empathetic character.
• Ability to make decisions and use initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A flexible and positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
