OT Discharge Lead – Acute & Complex Care

NHS is seeking a Band 7 Advanced Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to lead the Discharge Team (DART). The role focuses on reducing length of stay, enabling early discharge and improving patient flow across three inpatient medical wards, with clinical leadership of junior staff and collaboration with MDT colleagues.

The post requires extensive experience in acute settings, complex discharge management and a proactive approach to service improvement, CPD, and audit.
