Care Assistant

Overview

We are seeking compassionate, resilient and dedicated Care Assistants to join our healthcare team within a secure prison environment. This role offers the opportunity to support vulnerable individuals and make a genuine difference to their health, wellbeing and rehabilitation.

Location

HMP Lewes – 1 Brighton Rd, Lewes BN7 1EA

Shift Patterns

8:30 – 12:30 – 16:00 – 19:00 (subject to change)

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support to individuals in the prison setting.
• Assist with personal care, meals and medication support.
• Promote a safe, positive, and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work alternating weekends.
• Pass a DBS check (required by the role).
