Healthcare Assistant
We are looking for a passionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients Team at Rivers Hospital. This is a 15‑hour contract covering Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings (13:00–21:30) and up to two Saturdays per month (07:45–15:45).
Responsibilities
Support patients in the Outpatients Department, deliver high‑quality clinical outcomes, and work under pressure to tight deadlines. Provide excellent written and verbal communication and outstanding customer service to ensure patients feel cared for as unique individuals.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service skills
- Highly motivated, flexible approach to duties and hours
- Ability to work in a constantly and rapidly changing environment
