Female Community Support Worker
- Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
- Pay rate: £15.00 per hour plus paid travel expenses (25p per mile)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shifts: Days, Wake Night, Sleep‑in shifts
- Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence (due to nature of the role)
We have an opportunity for you! If you are an experienced Support Worker who thrives on variety and loves making a genuine impact, this role is for you. We’re recruiting a Community Support Worker to deliver flexible, person‑centred support across a range of services in Southampton and the surrounding areas. This is a permanent position with guaranteed hours – perfect for someone who enjoys adapting to different environments, meeting new people, and bringing stability and compassion wherever it’s needed. You’ll receive full training to work confidently across supported living and complex care services in the community.
Responsibilities
- 1:1 or 2:1 support – delivering high‑quality, attentive care
- Creating meaningful activities – at home or out in the community
- Encouraging social interaction – helping people build confidence and connection
- Supporting communication – in the way that works best for each individual
- Maintaining a calm, organised environment – through everyday household tasks
Qualifications
- Experience in Complex Care
- Autism
- Epilepsy
- Behaviours perceived as challenging
- Mental health support
